Q:      When are the meetings of the Board of Directors held?

A:        The Board of Directors meets the 4th Wednesday of each month starting at 5:30 p.m. and the public is invited to attend and comment on any issue concerning the Spring Creek Association during Comments by the General Public. Special meetings of the Board of Directors may be called from time to time.
  
Q:      When are the meetings of the Committee of Architecture held?

A:        The Committee of Architecture meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month starting at 5:30 p.m. and the public is invited to attend and comment on any issue concerning the Spring Creek Association during Comments by the General Public. Special meetings of the Committee of Architecture may be called from time to time.


Q:       Where are the Board of Directors (BOD) and Committee of Architecture (COA) meetings held?

A:        The BOD and the COA meet at the Fairway Community Center Meeting Room at 401 Fairway Blvd, Spring Creek, Nevada.
 
Q:        How can I receive an agenda or agenda packet?

A:        You may obtain copies of agenda’s for the previous year from this website or you may telephone the Association Office at (775) 753-6295. You can e-mail your request to scatreas@frontiernet.net or scacoa@frontiernet.net to get a copy of an upcoming agenda packet. Agenda's are posted at the Association Office, Khoury's Marketplace, Khoury's Fresh Market, Spring Creek Shell Station, Spring Creek Horse Palace and the Association Website prior to the meeting date each month.
 
Q:       How can I get a matter placed on the BOD or COA agenda?

A:       You may request that an item be placed on the agenda by making a request in writing and returning it to Spring Creek Association, 401 Fairway Blvd, Spring Creek, NV 89815, or by calling (775) 753-6295 to obtain a form.  To be placed on the agenda the request must be received no later than the Tuesday prior to the scheduled meeting date.
 
Q.        How can I get minutes from a meeting?

A.        You may obtain copies of all approved minutes from this website for the previous year or you may telephone the Association Office at (775) 753-6295 or e-mail your request to scatreas@frontiernet.net or scacoa@frontiernet.net for all others. A $0.50 cents per page copy fee applies to printed minutes. All original minutes of the Board of Directors and Committee of Architecture meetings are located at the Association Office. Minutes that have not yet been approved by the BOD or COA will not be available to the public until after their approval.

Tract 100, 200, 300 & 400 are all up for election.

Candidates can submit there Candidate Registration form February 1st - March 31st during normal business hours at 401 Fairway Blvd. 

SCA Bylaw:
5.3.b. Candidates: The announcement of the results for the election of Directors will occur on the day of the annualmeeting. Each candidate must be an eligible member of the Association as defined in Article III of the Bylaws. Board members must remain current on property owner assessments and in compliance with the Declaration of Reservations for the Association to serve on the Board of Directors. No member may be
placed on the ballot for election to the Board unless the member’s assessments are current and the member is in compliance with the Declaration of Reservations for the Association. The Association’s Committee of Architecture shall decide, and their decision shall be final, any questions which arise as to whether a candidate is in compliance with the Declaration of Reservations, subject to any right to appeal said decision to the Board of Directors. Any property owner wishing to run for the Board of Directors of the Spring Creek Association shall file his
or her name with the Corporate Secretary of the Association during regular business hours, between February first and March thirty-first of the election year. If February first or March thirty-first should fall on a weekend or a Nevada Statutory holiday, filing of candidates will be extended to the following business day. The Secretary of the Association will identify the candidate and verify his/her eligibility pursuant to this Article
and Article III of the Bylaws. No other names will appear on the ballot. There shall be no write-in candidates. Each candidate will be responsible for his/her own campaign with no expense to the Association. If only one (1) qualified nomination is made for a vacant position, such nominee shall automatically be deemed and declared elected, and balloting shall be dispensed with in respect to that particular vacancy.
